Darling Harbour and PlayStation Australia are giving YOU the chance to kick off Darling Harbour’s Christmas Fireworks and win a new look PlayStation 5 Console, just in time for Christmas.
We have joined forces with our friends at PlayStation Australia to celebrate the festive season at Darling Harbour, Sydney, and give 3 lucky winners the chance to push the button to set off Darling Harbour’s Saturday Night Christmas Fireworks AND win a new look PlayStation® 5 Console.
Every year, Darling Harbour transforms into a playground of festive fun to
‘Deck The Harbour’ for Sydneysiders and visitors. We want to bring a little extra magic and much-needed support for kids with disability across New South Wales by encouraging donations this December.
Every donation to Sony Foundation Australia’s Children’s Holiday Camp program will enter your name in the draw for a chance to win the unique opportunity to launch the Darling Harbour Christmas Fireworks over 3 Saturdays in December (9th, 16th and 23rd of December). Our 3 lucky winners will also take home a new look PlayStation 5 console to call their own.

There are two ways to enter:
1. ONLINE: Simply donate $2 or more to Sony Foundation Australia's Children's Holiday Camp Program via the form on this page;
2. IN PERSON: Double your chances of winning by visiting the PlayStation Christmas Activation on the Palm Grove Forecourt in front of IMAX Sydney, Darling Harbour. Each donation in person will count as two entries in the draw.

All donations will go towards Sony Foundation Australia’s Children’s Holiday Camp program.
Sony Foundation’s Children’s Holiday Camp Program provides the holiday of a lifetime for children with disability, whilst also providing free overnight respite care to give the parents and carers of the children a much-needed break. Uniquely, campers are provided with 24/7 primary care for four days/three nights by high school and university students who also create fun and new experiences for the children while building lifelong friendships; a Christmas before Christmas.
Every $1,640 raised will fund a child to attend a Sony Foundation Camp.
In 2023:
180 children with disability will enjoy the holiday of a lifetime at one of seven NSW-based Sony Foundation Camps, held in partnership with 13 schools and universities.
370 high school and university students will provide 24/7 care to the children over the three-night / four-day camp, breaking down stigmas around disability and encouraging pathways into the disability sector.
For the children’s families, Sony Foundation Camps provide critical free overnight respite care.
This season, Darling Harbour is coming alive with events and activities
that put the 'merry' in Merry Christmas.
Dive head-first into festive kids’ fun at The Harbour Village, where your little elves can write letters to Santa, be spellbound by Aussie storytelling sessions, get crafty at Santa's workshop, or have a dance-off with Santa’s DJ helpers.
Or why not enjoy a pedal boat ride on Cockle Bay, get your putt on with Pixar Putt mini golf or snap a selfie in front of the giant Christmas bauble
Looking for somewhere to grab a bite? From authentic Asian flavours in Darling Square to casual alfresco dining in Darling Quarter, and prime harbourside dining at Cockle Bay, there are over 150 incredible places to try this Christmas.
